Italian language classes – Adelaide 2026

Filef, a not-for-profit community-based body, has been involved in the promotion and provision of language and cultural activities since the 1980s.

In 2026 Filef again offers beginner, intermediate and advanced level Italian language classes for adults. The groupings are approximate as the starting point may differ. For example, even in beginners a person may have knowledge of another language other than English. In deciding which course to enrol in, keep in mind that it is always potentially beneficial to aim for a more challenging level. You have an existing language and a body of knowledge and the course you choose is to help you express what you already know in another code, i.e. Italian. Do not be afraid to make mistakes or of being ungrammatical.

The importance is to COMMUNICATE. Use what you learn to communicate as often as possible for it can propel you forward. Do not wait to express it correctly before you use the language, that will come with greater practice and as your interaction with Italian increases. Be bold and communicate in Italian as much as possible.
All courses will have a strong conversational component and cultural content.
